She was named Miss Columbus in 1985 after getting the crown and beating her competitors. The month of June, 1985 saw Miss Georgia was to be held in her honor. The 22nd of June in 1985, she was also crowned the competition. Mohr who had won the event, was able to represent Georgia as Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. Mohr wasn't a Top-10 Finalist in the National Title.
